Cloud email providers built a comfortable cage: your messages scanned for ads, your users locked into their identity system, your costs scaling linearly with headcount. Transactional APIs did the same for send-only workloads: meter every email, charge for every dedicated IP, own every webhook.
Self-hosting has always been the honest answer. The problem was operational cost. Configuring Postfix, wrangling DKIM, keeping Dovecot patched: none of it is interesting, and all of it takes time you don't have.

The installer is idempotent: safe to re-run: and works on any Ubuntu 22.04+ or Debian 11+ box. Five minutes later you have Postfix, Dovecot, OpenDKIM, SpamAssassin, MariaDB and the dashboard, all wired together with Let's Encrypt certificates.
